ACTS is a mentoring program comprised of girls ages 8-18. The purpose is to develop a mentorship relationship where young people can have access to trusted adults who will give them information on vocational, educational, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual matters.
Mentoring groups meet twice a month to engage in activities that promote self esteem, growth in their personal faith in God and serve the community. Activities such as field trips to cultural and art events are made to promote cultural literacy. We also provide opportunities for community service and encourage our girls to be service oriented. The hope is to expand the awareness of young people to the needs of the community at large.
Mentors are subjected to background screening and are provided training. They are volunteers who profess a faith in Christ as Lord and are concerned for today's youth. This program is only available to girls ages 8-18.

2019-2020 Registration is now open!
We are accepting registrations for 2019- 2020 school year. We have many activities planned for the mentees! They will begin a journey that will help them explore their feelings, faith, friendships all while having fun. As they draw closer to Christ, they will begin to see that Jeremiah 29:11 is true.
The essence of having good self esteem is knowing who you are, and whose you are and knowing that there is much to be admired in this knowledge. We want our mentees to be bold and bright in a culture that is telling them that being silent and embracing darkness is a way to have friends and be popular. Our girls are all about activity, giving back and showing their strength. We teach our mentees, put your light on a lampstand, don't hide it. We desire to see them each shine with their own gifts.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 (NIV)
